The coronavirus emergency has reached global dimensions. The direct consequences of the crises that are involving the planet from a health point of view, are deeply changing consumer habits. Social distancing and further progressive changes to the restrictive measures anticipate a further element of uncertainty.
It is not only a widespread recession, but a drastic imbalance in the supply and demand of certain goods. From the moment online purchases and the purchase of digital services are allowed, the concept of “essential good” also seems to have totally lost its meaning.
The world of advertising is apparently in a favorable moment, news sites, cooking, multimedia platforms, are achieving incredible results. It is evident that the greater availability of users’ time puts users with greater levels of attention in the hands of professionals.
Attention flawed since we are living, full of uncertainty, fear and probably annoyance for certain contents that refer to scenarios related to the past (eg spot of Crodino – “The non-alcoholic blonde that makes the world embrace”).
The challenge for those who manage advertising budgets is extremely compelling. What used to be valid now is no longer valid, and day after day the scenario can change for better or for worse.
During our webinar we will talk about the experiences of large and important companies and how they have had to make up for the imbalances caused by the impact that the “lock-down” is having on our lives, our needs. But above all, the opportunities to be seized when there are different security provisions and we will slowly move towards a “Spring of consumption”.
We will have the pleasure of addressing and explore these issues together with:
- Alberto Nasciuti – CEO @ KPI6
- Massimo Fontana – NED @ KPI6
- Luca Vergani – CEO @ Wavemaker
- Germano Calvi – Head of Research and Data Science @ Publicis Communications
